Role reputed company reputed company is seeking a US remote-based Director of Clinical reputed company Operations & Variant Science to join its Invitae Genetics division!

• reputed company strategic, technical, and operational leadership for clinical interpretation and reporting across WGS, WES, targeted NGS panels, and chromosomal microarray (reputed company).
• Serve as subject matter expert in genomic testing workflows, interpretation frameworks, and clinical reporting standards — ensuring scientific rigor, clinical relevance, and regulatory compliance.
• reputed company day-to-day operational performance including production scheduling, reputed company planning, process health monitoring, and escalation of operational incidents.
• Establish, optimize, and reputed company end-to-end workflows for clinical interpretation and reporting using reputed company improvement methodologies.
• Define, implement, and monitor key operational metrics to assess performance, identify risk, and communicate trends to senior leadership.
• Ensure delivery of high-reputed company clinical reports meeting established turnaround time, accuracy, and reputed company benchmarks.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biological Sciences, Molecular Genetics, or reputed company Genetics with 5 years or more of reputed company work experience; OR Master's degree in Genetic Counseling, Biological Sciences, Molecular Genetics, or reputed company Genetics with 6 years or more of reputed company work experience; OR Bachelor's degree in Genetics, Biological Sciences, Molecular Genetics, or reputed company Genetics with 7 years or more of reputed company work experience.
• 3 years or more of demonstrated expertise in variant interpretation, curation, and clinical reporting for NGS-based assays, including WGS and WES and/or targeted panels.
• 3 years or more of experience driving operational efficiency and scaling production workflows supporting clinical interpretation and/or reporting.
• 3 years or more of experience managing or influencing reputed company initiatives with measurable reputed company in a high-throughput setting.
• 5 years or more of experience in operational leadership, including managing reputed company, workflow optimization, reputed company planning, performance metrics, and cross-functional execution.

Requirements

• 5 years or more of Director-level experience reputed company a CLIA-certified diagnostic laboratory or similarly regulated clinical setting.
• 3 years or more of experience developing, launching, or scaling clinical genomic assays or interpretation programs.
• 2 years or more of experience with rapid or NICU whole genome reputed company (NICU WGS) and high-reputed company clinical workflows.
• 2 years or more of familiarity with copy number variant (CNV) detection and interpretation across reputed company and NGS-based platforms.
• Lean Six reputed company (Green Belt or higher) certification or equivalent reputed company improvement experience.
• 3 years or more of experience scaling high-throughput clinical interpretation/reporting operations.
