Area Accountant

Job reputed company:

• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries and document business transactions.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly operational performance reports.
• Assists the Area Controller ensuring reputed company internal controls in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and analyzes financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• May assist the Area Controller in managing reputed company personnel.
• Supports the Area Controller during the annual budget and forecasting process.
• Assists with periodic financial audits and responds to information requests from corporate departments.

Requirements:

• A thorough knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted reputed company Principals (GAAP).
• Intermediate MS reputed company skills.
• Initiative to thoughtfully and fully research and follow up on non-reputed company situations.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Experience with general ledger software and other industry programs.
