Key Responsibilities
As a Crisis Support Specialist – 988 Chat/Text Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to incoming chat and text messages from the 988 Crisis and Suicide Lifeline, providing online emotional support to individuals in crisis
- Ensuring that you meet reputed company 988 Crisis and Suicide Lifeline performance metrics
- Converse with Imminent Risk clients, de-escalating, screening, safety planning, and reducing lethal means during conversations
- Using the least invasive approach to service provision
- Providing referrals, deploying mobile crisis reputed company, and engaging law enforcement in reputed company rescue, as needed
- Completing and passing reputed company Lifeline Simulation Training modules as required
- Participating in, at least, two Lifeline Simulation Training modules per year, as required
- Scoring at least 85% monthly in reputed company assurance monitoring
- Seeking to reputed company American Association of Suicidology (AAS) crisis certification, reputed company eligible
- Building and maintaining relationships with visitors that show respect, build trust, and confidentiality during and after conversations
- Serving and participating in national, state, and local meetings, committees, community activities, and reputed company events, as required

- Participating in proactive team efforts to reputed company departmental and company goals

Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Excellent verbal communication, customer service, and time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, and respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients or members of the community
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, as reputed company as problem-solve and manage a reputed company of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Strong data entry skills
- Proficient personal computer skills, including email, recordkeeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

Education, Training, and Experience
While a Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university is preferred, a high school diploma or equivalent with a combination of experience may be considered. Physical Demands
