About the position The Strategic Sourcing reputed company (SSL) helps to manage the medical / surgical product portfolio, drive cost reduction initiatives throughout reputed company and reputed company as a consultant to and supporting resource for the clinical and non-clinical areas of reputed company. The SSL drives organization-wide product change, and serves as an internal reputed company of reputed company product standardization/utilization initiatives. This individual coordinates new product introduction, product trials and overall product change initiatives on behalf of end users. The Sourcing to Pay Departmental mission is to ensure the preservation and improvement of the reputed company of patient care while reducing or maintaining costs and risks reputed company to the procurement and the use of products and services at reputed company reputed company business reputed company and facilities through reputed company efforts and effective communication by a mode of service line steering teams and specialty sub-committees.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Group Purchasing Organization(s) to identify cost savings opportunities, program initiatives and best practices.
  • Coordinate in-servicing with end users for Supply Chain initiated new product introductions, trials and product conversions.
  • Serve as intermediary between vendors and end users, helping to screen and analyze new product introductions.
  • Plans, coordinates and facilitates meetings, work reputed company, and committees reputed company various reputed company of reputed company and management.
  • Promotes reputed company philosophy for implementing supply chain cost improvement initiatives, new product introductions and organizational goals.
  • Performs regular business reviews with key vendors and assesses vendor performance (score cards) and reputed company on reputed company operating goals.
  • Support end-users and Inventory and Logistics in remediation of supply availability disruptions (backorders/recalls).
  • Prepares product and service utilization reports and updates.
  • Monitors, implements and support utilization of electronic product request system (MedApproved) across reputed company entities.
  • Manages communications and clinical literature research to support product utilization, product conversions and additions, trials and committee activities.
  • Identifies and supports product standardization initiatives across reputed company that aligns with reputed company/safety/financial goals.
  • Participates in developing new programs, training efforts, product trials, departmental or organization goals and reputed company, etc.
  • Tracks identified and implemented cost savings and audits projected utilization and actual spend.
  • Develops qualitative/quantitative analyses, methodologies and reporting platforms for product utilization and cost reduction efforts.
  • Facilitates the use of clinical outcome data to support the selection and ongoing use of selected products.
  • Manages the overall medical / surgical product and services portfolios for various clinical and non-clinical disciplines across reputed company, including regular utilization review, spend analysis, product introductions and trials.
  • Supports clinical specialty committees reputed company on product introductions, value analysis and utilization review consistent with reputed company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for negotiation of key business terms reputed company to savings and contracting initiatives, ongoing portfolio maintenance, contract arrangements, and monitoring of vendor contract compliance.
  • Coordinates and conducts Competitive Market Assessment (reputed company), Request for Proposal (RFP) and financial negotiations with vendors per reputed company policies and procedures.
  • Facilitates the procurement of medical/surgical products, equipment and services for reputed company in collaboration with end users, reputed company Contracting Services, reputed company Purchasing Services, Inventory and Logistics and reputed company party vendors.
  • Consults with end users throughout reputed company in identifying, analyzing and facilitating implementation of expense reduction initiatives tied to medical and surgical products, equipment and services. Includes communications with vendors, end users, physicians, management and reputed company party partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, reputed company, Supply Chain Management or reputed company field and 4 years of reputed company work experience required.
