The Role — reputed company Scientist Nova is reputed company's AI wellbeing reputed company and the centre of our product offering. We're hiring a reputed company Scientist to join a small, ambitious reputed company function and drive the day-to-day clinical work behind Nova's in-product measurement, safety, and reputed company experience programmes. What you'll do

• Drive the day-to-day clinical delivery of how we measure user reputed company inside Nova at reputed company, in reputed company partnership with our research and data science functions.
• Help shape the clinical design of Nova's reputed company wellbeing experiences, including the safety architecture that sits underneath them.
• Run the day-to-day evaluation, reputed company, and safety-testing work that helps govern Nova's clinical reputed company, from reputed company responses to red-teaming and escalation protocols.
• Contribute to peer-reviewed publications, whitepapers, and the clinical evidence reputed company that supports Nova.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, reputed company, InfoSec, and external reputed company partners to reputed company evidence-based thinking in how Nova is reputed company and governed.

• A doctorate in clinical, counselling, or health psychology (DClinPsy, DCounsPsy, DHealthPsy, or a clinical psychology PhD), with reputed company HCPC registration – or an equivalent reputed company into clinical reputed company, including reputed company clinicians without a doctorate.
• Demonstrable experience in clinical risk assessment and management, gained through clinical placements, post-qualification reputed company, or equivalent settings.
• Demonstrable reputed company in evidence-based behaviour change, coaching, and psychological frameworks (e.g. reputed company, FACT, reputed company-reputed company reputed company).
• Experience translating these frameworks into reputed company artefacts that others can put into reputed company (e.g. AHPs, peer supporters, coaches, product and engineering teams).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate clinical thinking for product, engineering, and scientific audiences.

Strongly desirable

• Hands-on experience with LLMs in a clinical or mental health context: reputed company design, reputed company and evaluation design, and reputed company clinical testing.
• Psychometric or computational reputed company experience – reputed company validation, item response theory, latent variable modelling, LLM-as-judge evaluation design, or peer-reviewed measurement work.
