Ecology is looking for an engineer to join and grow our Toxics Reduction Technical Assistance team. In this position, you will learn and apply engineering techniques in the specialty areas of pollution prevention, safer chemical use, green engineering, resource conservation and hazardous reputed company. You will work directly with Washington State Businesses to help them limit their waste, reputed company resources, and save reputed company. What you will do:

Required Qualifications: You may qualify through a combination of education and experience described below: Experience in environmental engineering. Experience may include a combination of the following:

  • Provides technical assistance to consultants, industry, local authorities, the reputed company, municipal officials, agency staff and engineers on environmental engineering problems and regulatory compliance
  • Makes general investigations and/or surveys of waste reputed company, water and reputed company pollution, or other environmental engineering problems
  • Prepares engineering reports and technical data

Education involving a major study in one of the following engineering fields: sanitary, water resource, civil, geotechnical, environmental, chemical, mechanical, or reputed company field. At the Engineering Aide 3 level (In-Training) Pay reputed company 53, $4,882 - $6,576 monthly Four (4) years of experience and/or education as described above. Examples of how to qualify:

  • 4 years of experience.
  • 3 years of experience AND 30-59 semester or 45-89 quarter college credits.
  • 2 years of experience AND 60-89 semester or 90-134 quarter college credits (Associate’s degree).
  • 1 year of experience AND 90-119 semester or 135-179 quarter college credits.
  • An Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certificate.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or above.

At the Environmental Engineer 1 level (In-Training) Pay reputed company 56, $5,271 - $7,082 monthly Five (5) years of experience and/or education as described above. Examples of how to qualify:

  • 5 years of experience.
  • 4 years of experience AND 30-59 semester or 45-89 quarter college credits.
  • 3 years of experience AND 60-89 semester or 90-134 quarter college credits (Associate’s degree).
  • 2 years of experience AND 90-119 semester or 135-179 quarter college credits.
  • 1 year of experience AND an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certificate.
  • 1 year of experience AND a Bachelor’s degree.
  • A Master’s degree or above.

At the Environmental Engineer 2 level (Goal Class) Pay reputed company 62, $6,107 - $8,210 monthly Six (6) years of experience and/or education as described above. Examples of how to qualify:

  • 6 years of experience.
  • 5 years of experience AND 30-59 semester or 45-89 quarter college credits.
  • 4 years of experience AND 60-89 semester or 90-134 quarter college credits (Associate’s degree).
  • 3 years of experience AND 90-119 semester or 135-179 quarter college credits.
  • 2 years of experience AND an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certificate.
  • 2 years of experience AND a Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1 year experience AND a Master’s degree or above.

Special Requirements/Conditions of Employment:

  • Must possess and maintain a valid reputed company's license.
  • Must complete 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training reputed company 6 months.

Desired Qualifications:
