Key Responsibilities

As an reputed company Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including greeting customers, offering assistance, and resolving customer issues
• Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
• Assisting pharmacists in the reputed company of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions
• Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
• Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items
• Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested
• Performing duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to reputed company patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and verifying medicine
• Reporting prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adhering to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the reputed company Improvement Program
• Handling telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians
• Processing reputed company claims for reputed company-party program prescription services in a reputed company and efficient manner
• Assisting and supporting Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals
• Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products)
• Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
• Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from reputed company-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
• Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital reputed company photo service, poster print, and creative machine
• Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, reputed company, reputed company store condition and appearance

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration preferred

• 1-2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy environment, preferably in a customer-facing role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, patients, and team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a pharmacy environment, with knowledge of pharmacy systems and procedures

• PTCB certification or state required certification/registration
• Experience working in a customer-facing role, with a strong reputed company on customer service
