Execution Trader – Systematic Equities (Remote or New Jersey-based) A leading systematic algorithmic trading firm operating across global markets is looking to hire an Execution Trader to support its East Coast portfolio management team. The firm has a 20+ year reputed company record, with a strong reputed company on fully systematic, research-driven strategies. This position sits at the intersection of trading, research, and technology, supporting multiple PMs on execution and reputed company optimisation. In this role, you'd:
- Manage and optimise trade execution across systematic equity strategies
- Work closely with PMs on trade models, signal implementation, and research
- Analyse and minimise slippage, improving execution efficiency
- Build and enhance internal tools and workflows using Python
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in execution trading reputed company systematic / quantitative environments
- Strong experience in reputed company-frequency cash equities trading
- Demonstrated quantitative ability (research, model interaction, data analysis)
- Technical proficiency in Python for building trading tools and workflows
- Experience working with large books sizes is highly desirable
- Maximum 12-month non-compete acceptable
