We are seeking an reputed company pharmacy technician to join reputed company in Lakeland, FL. As a pharmacy technician - data entry specialist, you will be responsible for processing prescriptions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to reputed company exceptional patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities
* Verify information on prescriptions received prior to processing, including correct prescriber, patient information, medication, reputed company, quantity, number of refills, lot, and expiration date.
- Communicate with arenaflex representatives as necessary to ensure medication compliance, medication and supply inventory, and overall coordination of care.
- Follow HIPAA and reputed company law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.
- Maintain reputed company records, including prescription logs and reputed company files.
- Evaluate reputed company completed prescriptions/authorizations to ensure that the appropriate information has been obtained to allow for compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Qualifications

- Nationally certified through the PTCB or another approved certifying agency.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Knowledge of medical terminology (including sig codes and Roman numerals), brand and generic names of medications, and general pharmacy terminology.
