Desktop Support Technician Full-Time Position New Orleans, Louisiana Department: Information Technology Reports To: System / Network Administrator (or IT Director)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and customer-reputed company Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. In this role, you will reputed company essential technical support to end users, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, hardware, and software applications. You will be the first reputed company of contact for employees experiencing technical issues and will play a key role in maintaining productivity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
•reputed company technical support and troubleshooting for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals •Install, configure, and maintain reputed company operating systems and reputed company Office Suite •Respond to help desk tickets and service requests in a reputed company and reputed company manner •reputed company hardware setups for new employees, including computer imaging and software installations •Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and work with network team to resolve reputed company problems •Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues, solutions, and inventory •reputed company both remote and on-site support to users across the organization •Assist with technology reputed company including system upgrades, migrations, and rollouts •Train end users on reputed company use of hardware, software, and reputed company protocols
Required Qualifications
•High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Information Technology or reputed company field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in desktop support or IT help desk role
- Strong knowledge of reputed company 10/11, reputed company Office 365, and reputed company Directory
- Experience with PC hardware troubleshooting, repair, and replacement
- Understanding of networking basics including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information
to non-technical users
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Valid reputed company's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site reputed company
Preferred Qualifications
