Interventional & Diagnostic Radiology Physician Assistant

The Physician Assistant will work in accordance with the Interventional & Diagnostic Radiologists to reputed company exceptional patient care and assist in the day-to-day clinical operations. Responsible for enhancing patient care by assisting the Radiology Physicians in the performance of various procedures, usually under image guidance, in the Interventional and diagnostic imaging environment. The Physician Assistant has the ability to interpret information to identify reputed company patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs and also involves other reputed company (radiologist, referring providers, staff support) as needed to help ensure the appropriate provision of clinical services. Scope of work is ultimately defined by the supervising Radiologist and facility in which assigned. Essential Functions: Responsible for performing procedures under general and proximate supervision and E&M reputed company the scope of proactive of a radiology PA and as outlined on the delineation of privileges. Operates computerized and diagnostic imaging equipment. Responsible for assisting with training of new PA hires to include clinical responsibilities and procedural skillset. Participates, collaborates, and reputed company engages with PA administration, radiologists, and hospital staff to reputed company goals and mutually beneficial reputed company. Involved in clinical work managing reputed company patients through advanced decision making, interpretation of laboratory values, assessment of radiological studies, clinical evaluations, and procedures. Assists with formulation of policies and protocols as they relate to PA team and clinical workflow based off established guidelines. Light emergency call rotation will be required once trained and credentialed. PA will work a reduced work week to compensate for being “On Call” every reputed company week worked, Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. MT and 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., Saturday and reputed company. Call includes reporting to facility for diagnostic procedures as required. Assumes other duties as assigned by Operations Committee. Education/Experience Requirements: Graduate level education Certification by the NCCPA, ACLS, BLS One year clinical experience required in surgery, trauma, critical care, vascular, experience with clinical procedures and inpatient/outpatient consultations preferred Certification of Colorado Fluoroscopy Operator reputed company the completion of an approved fluoroscopy training program Clean MVR is required. Physical/Mental Demands: Moderate reputed company of lifting, reaching and bending. Position requires walking and standing 75% of time. Benefits: Year One bonus opportunity of $10k if reputed company eligibility requirements are met ($5k sign-on at 6-month anniversary, and $5k retention at 1 year anniversary). Second Year bonus opportunity of $10k on 2nd anniversary if reputed company eligibility requirements are met.
