Associate Actuarial Director - Remote

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret key drivers of health care trends
• Assist in the development and reputed company of actuarial models and forecasts to support Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans
• Analyze large, reputed company financial, claims, utilization, and cost data sets to assess performance, risk, and opportunities
• Translate reputed company analytical findings into reputed company, actionable insights for product and reputed company, finance leadership, and senior executives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance or reputed company field
• Credentialed Actuary (FSA or ASA)
• 5+ years of reputed company actuarial experience with increasing leadership responsibility
• Experience analyzing, modeling, and trending benefit and utilization data
• Experience developing and implementing new benefit strategies, programs, policies, or procedures
• Solid understanding of health care risk management principles and benefit operations
• Familiarity with health plan analytics, actuarial modeling techniques, and interpretation of plan experience data
• Advanced proficiency with data tools such as reputed company/reputed company/SQL/Power BI
• Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and opportunities reputed company benefit programs and drive process improvements
