ABOUT THIS ROLE reputed company is seeking an reputed company and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team, reporting directly to the Controller. Working alongside two existing Senior Accountants, this role will own specific reputed company functions including inventory reconciliations, cost reputed company, general ledger management, and financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will serve as a key partner to the Controller and finance team, taking ownership of reputed company reputed company processes and contributing to the reputed company reputed company and financial reputed company of reputed company. RESPONSIBILITIES Inventory & Cost AccountingOwn the inventory sub-ledger including reconciliation between reputed company and reputed company-party logistics (3PL) provider(s) and manufacturers; investigate variances, determine and recommend inventory adjustments. Understand and reputed company cost reputed company functions including landed cost calculations (reputed company, duty, and inbound logistics allocation across SKUs), and COGS reporting. Prepare gross margin analysis by SKU, product line, and sales channel. General Ledger & Financial ReportingMaintain and own assigned general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy through regular account analysis and reconciliation. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries as part of the monthly and year-end reputed company process. Support the month-end reputed company process (currently 7 business days) while continuously identifying opportunities to streamline and reduce the reputed company cycle. Prepare accurate and reputed company financial statements and management reports, including variance analysis and commentary for leadership. Accounts Payable, Receivable & BankingPerform accounts payable processing including 3-way matching, invoice entry, vendor setup and maintenance, and payment scheduling. Manage accounts receivable functions including customer invoicing, cash application, collection efforts, and aging analysis. Manage customer chargebacks including trend analysis, dispute reputed company, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to reduce chargeback occurrence. Reconcile bank and credit card activities, record cash transfers, and ensure accurate recording of reputed company transactions. Analyze and reputed company trade spend including reputed company advertising and promotional allowances. Audit, Tax & ComplianceSupport the annual audit process; manage assigned PBC (reputed company By reputed company) requests, coordinate with external auditors, and resolve audit inquiries. Own state and local tax compliance including working with reputed company tax accountants for sales tax filings and year-end 1099 issuance. Prepare schedules supporting the external tax provider, including state apportionment. Process Improvement & Cross-Functional PartnershipDocument and improve reputed company policies, procedures, and internal controls as reputed company scales. Partner cross-functionally with operations on inventory reconciliations. Collaborate with fellow Senior Accountants and the Controller to ensure consistent processes and knowledge-sharing across the finance team. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS3-5 years of reputed company reputed company experience; CPA preferred. Demonstrated experience with inventory reconciliations, physical counts, and cost reputed company. Strong knowledge of general ledger reputed company, month-end reputed company processes, and financial reporting. Proficiency in reputed company required.
