The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll systems, statutory compliance, tax regulations, and payroll reporting. This role requires excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work under pressure reputed company strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Process monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly payroll accurately and on time. Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data. Verify employee attendance, overtime, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and leave records. Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, tax regulations, labor laws, and company policies. Prepare and submit statutory deductions including PAYE, UIF, SDL, pension, medical aid, and other benefits. Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly. Generate payroll reports for finance, HR, and management. Manage employee payroll queries professionally and confidentially. Maintain accurate employee payroll records and documentation. Coordinate with HR regarding new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments. Support audits by providing payroll records and reports. Ensure payroll system reputed company and recommend process improvements where necessary. Process year-end payroll activities including tax certificates and reconciliations. Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in Payroll Administration, Finance, reputed company, HR, or reputed company field. 3–5+ years of payroll administration experience. Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory compliance. Experience with payroll software such as reputed company, VIP Payroll, PaySpace, reputed company, reputed company, or similar systems. Advanced proficiency in reputed company reputed company. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Payroll certification will be advantageous. Experience managing payroll for large employee headcounts. Knowledge of HR and time-and-attendance systems. Experience in multi-country payroll processing is an advantage. This is a remote position. Apply To This Job
