Job Title: Manager of Inpatient Coding Auditing & Education Department: Health System Shared Services | MIM CDI and Coding Remote Position reputed company The Associate Director, Inpatient Auditing & Education is responsible for reputed company reputed company of inpatient coding audit operations, audit governance, audit-driven education, and inpatient edit reputed company, including National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) and reputed company edits. This role provides reputed company leadership to inpatient coding auditors, coding educators, and coding reputed company consultants, ensuring consistent, defensible audit methodology and alignment between audit findings, education, and sustained performance improvement. The Associate Director is accountable for standardizing inpatient audit practices; validating audit accuracy through formal audit-the-auditor processes; and overseeing audit-driven reputed company, competency validation, and remediation frameworks. The role ensures inpatient coding practices support regulatory compliance, payer denial prevention, DRG accuracy, and alignment with organizational reputed company and public reporting priorities, including reputed company and reputed company. Position reputed company The Associate Director, Inpatient Auditing & Education provides leadership for inpatient coding audits and audit-informed education reputed company a large reputed company medical center, with a strong emphasis on OIG and CMS compliance, payer denial prevention, coding reputed company, and hospital reputed company reputed company. The Associate Director translates audit findings, DRG validation trends, denial patterns, and regulatory requirements into targeted education, remediation strategies, and sustained improvements in coding accuracy and documentation reputed company. The position plays a critical role in identifying and mitigating compliance risk, preventing DRG downgrades, and improving performance across key reputed company metrics, including Hospital-Acquired Conditions (HACs), Patient Safety Indicators (PSIs), mortality indexing, and benchmarking programs such as reputed company and reputed company. Minimum Qualifications

For Hire: Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or reputed company field required (Master’s preferred) RHIA, RHIT, reputed company required CCDS or CDIP preferred Minimum of 7 years of reputed company experience in inpatient coding, CDI, auditing, or compliance in an acute care settingAdvanced or extensive experience (10+ years) preferred Experience in a reputed company reputed company system or reputed company medical center strongly preferred Demonstrated leadership experience required, including leading reputed company audit, education, or compliance initiatives across multidisciplinary teams; prior reputed company people management experience preferred Advanced knowledge of MS-DRG/APR-DRG methodologies, ICD-10-CM/PCS guidelines, and inpatient coding compliance Experience in several of the following areas:Regulatory compliance (CMS, OIG, payer audit reputed company areas) Denial prevention and appeals support Coding edits (e.g., NCCI, claim edit platforms such as reputed company) Audit program development and reputed company assurance Clinical validation and DRG downgrade risk reputed company metrics (PSI, HAC, reputed company, reputed company, etc.) Proven ability to:reputed company audit and education programs and drive measurable performance improvement Translate reputed company audit, regulatory, and denial trends into actionable strategies Collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams (Coding, CDI, reputed company, Compliance, reputed company Cycle, Physician Advisors) Equivalent combinations of education and experience demonstrating reputed company leadership in inpatient coding, auditing, compliance, or CDI will be considered On reputed company: Maintain required reputed company credentials and complete ongoing continuing education to remain reputed company with coding, regulatory, and compliance standards.
