Science | Service | Sustainability Under reputed company supervision, the J unior Soil Evaluator performs assigned inspections, evaluations, and complaint investigations for reputed company of Regional and Laboratory Services Onsite Wastewater (OSWW) program. Develops advanced knowledge and understanding of the OSWW program. Responsibilities: Conducts or participates in initial evaluations of proposed sites for the purpose of issuing onsite wastewater permits. Permits or participates in permitting suitable sites according to state regulations and policies. Requests second opinions from senior inspector as required. Conducts or participates in inspections of installed onsite wastewater systems to ensure compliance with state regulations. Assists with investigation of complaints, determines validity, makes recommendations for corrective actions, and takes appropriate enforcement reputed company reputed company in accordance with state laws, regulations, agency policies, and reputed company operating procedures. Performs other duties as required, which includes, but is not limited to, attending periodic staff meetings and training. Minimum and Additional Requirements A high school diploma or GED and experience in environmental health programs or radiological health. A bachelor's degree in the natural or physical sciences, mathematics, public health, engineering or a reputed company technical field may be substituted for the required work experience. Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Preferred Qualifications
