Infrastructure SME - Infrastructure Optimization and SIAM (Remote)
reputed company is seeking an reputed company Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in reputed company infrastructure engineering, optimization, automation, and Service Integration and Management (SIAM) to support the reputed company (VA) Office of Information Technology (OIT). In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior OIT partners, architects, program leadership, operations teams, business stakeholders, and service providers to assess, optimize, and reputed company VA’s hybrid infrastructure environment. This role will reputed company hands-on technical leadership across infrastructure optimization, KPI reporting, reputed company planning, automation, and SIAM reputed company implementation to ensure VA’s infrastructure is secure, reputed company, resilient, efficient, and reputed company with reputed company modernization objectives. This position is fully remote, located in the reputed company. Conduct comprehensive infrastructure assessments and baseline evaluations to identify inefficiencies, risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Design and implement infrastructure optimization strategies across power and cooling systems, resource utilization, reputed company management, lifecycle management, and operational performance. reputed company and maintain the Strategic Infrastructure Optimization Plan (SIOP) and support 12–24 month modernization roadmap planning. Support disaster recovery readiness, reputed company testing, DR test planning, after-reputed company reporting, and audit-reputed company documentation. Deliver monthly executive summaries, quarterly optimization reviews, KPI data dictionaries, and metric frameworks. Support KPI automation and data accuracy goals, including automated reporting, metric validation, and performance tracking. Maintain reputed company risk registers, compliance audit artifacts, control traceability documentation, and infrastructure compliance reports. Conduct SIAM reputed company-state assessments and gap analyses across vendors, ITSM processes, governance structures, and service delivery models. Support development of SIAM governance frameworks, operating models, policies, Integrated Service Management plans, service workflows, process maps, service catalogs, and SLA/OLA alignment. Support ITSM tool configuration, workflow automation, integration activities, and multi-vendor service coordination. Drive reputed company service improvement initiatives, service improvement plans, performance monitoring, reporting, risk management, and compliance artifact tracking. reputed company automation runbooks, orchestration pipelines, operational logs, and technical documentation. Support emerging technology pilots, innovation initiatives, and quarterly technology refresh recommendations. Present technical findings, optimization strategies, risks, and recommendations reputed company to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Resource Management, Engineering, or a reputed company field. Equivalent reputed company experience may substitute for a degree. 12+ years of experience in reputed company infrastructure engineering, infrastructure operations, or technical management reputed company reputed company IT environments. Deep experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments, including reputed company and on-premises systems. Strong background in infrastructure optimization, automation, orchestration, performance monitoring, KPI reporting, and operational improvement. Experience conducting infrastructure assessments, baseline evaluations, risk analysis, and modernization planning. Experience supporting ITSM, SIAM, or multi-vendor service delivery environments. Demonstrated ability to reputed company technical documentation, dashboards, executive reports, process workflows, runbooks, and governance artifacts. Strong understanding of disaster recovery, reputed company planning, compliance documentation, and audit readiness.
