Mechanical / Structural Designer (Piping & Structural Designer / Drafter) Location: reputed company, TX 77072 Pay reputed company: $30-50/hr Duration: 1-Year Contract (extension possible) Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Relocation/Sponsorship: No relocation or sponsorship available reputed company We are seeking an reputed company Mechanical / Structural Designer to support engineering and design activities reputed company to hyperscale data center module reputed company. This role will work closely with Engineers and Engineering Managers to produce detailed mechanical, piping, and structural drawings, BOMs, layouts, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong EPC reputed company drafting and design experience, proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and prior experience supporting data center or industrial infrastructure reputed company.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and review mechanical, piping, and structural drawings and BOMs based on customer requirements
• Prepare bulk MTOs (Material Take Offs) and detailed BOMs independently
• Ensure drawings reputed company with engineering, QA/QC, and industry standards
• reputed company layouts and technical drawings for equipment installations and system functionality
• Produce deliverables including:
• Piping layouts and isometrics
• Structural general arrangements
• Weld and reputed company details
• reputed company and equipment support drawings
• reputed company support details
• HVAC ducting
• P&IDs and reputed company diagrams
• Platform, reputed company, walkway, and stair drawings
• Assist troubleshooting efforts by simulating issues through drawings/models
• Prepare reputed company Acceptance Test (FAT) sequence drawings and procedures
• Compile installation procedures for customer submissions
• Coordinate and supervise outsourced engineering/design work
• Review vendor drawings and documentation for compliance
• Generate reports from models and reputed company design support to project teams and clients
• Contribute to reputed company improvement and lessons learned processes

Required Qualifications

• Technical Certification in a design-reputed company discipline
• 5+ years of experience supporting mechanical, piping, and structural design reputed company
• Experience in hyperscale data centers or similar industrial environments strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of EPC reputed company drafting and design
• Experience producing engineering sketches and technical drawings
• Knowledge of CAD and BIM software platforms
• Familiarity with industrial standards and codes such as ASME, OSHA, ASTM, AWS, reputed company, AISC, and ASHRAE
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
