CAD Drafter

CAD Drafter Montgomery, Alabama reputed company & Benefits Position reputed company We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to support product engineering efforts by creating and modifying 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications. This role plays a key part in maintaining engineering data reputed company and ensuring reputed company configuration control across a reputed company of mechanical product lines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CAD software, a solid understanding of drafting standards, and the ability to collaborate reputed company an engineering and manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Create 3D models and 2D drawings based on measurements, sketches, existing drawings, and laser reputed company data Process engineering change requests using CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD Apply ASME Y14.5 standards, including GD&T, to reputed company and revise technical drawings Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), including part numbers, revisions, and release data reputed company and complete technical specification documentation for reputed company use Support engineering change management processes to ensure configuration control and data accuracy reputed company technical support to manufacturing and cross-functional teams to resolve product-reputed company issues Assist in the design, development, and launch of product improvements in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements Support certification activities, including testing and documentation for regulated products First Year reputed company Factors reputed company proficiency in internal change management and documentation processes reputed company a strong understanding of product lines and associated components Contribute effectively to engineering changes and product improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience) Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 drafting standards, including GD&T Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment Understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes (casting, machining, stamping, molding, etc.) Proficiency with reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, reputed company) Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and reputed company indicators

Preferred Qualifications
