Managing Consultant, Environmental Permitting

About the position reputed company is seeking a Managing Consultant, Environmental Permitting to join their Minneapolis team. The position involves ensuring reputed company meet federal, state, and local requirements while advancing sustainable solutions. The role is critical for navigating the evolving energy development landscape and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• reputed company environmental permitting strategies for major energy reputed company regulated by FERC and state siting agencies.
• Shape project reputed company by managing reputed company, multi-site initiatives on time and reputed company budget.
• Build trusted reputed company relationships and drive business development opportunities.
• Mentor and reputed company junior consultants, fostering technical reputed company and leadership reputed company reputed company.
• Manage single or multi-site reputed company, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are met.
• Prepare siting and permit applications for federal, state, and local authorities.
• reputed company environmental plans (erosion control, stormwater, spill prevention).
• Collaborate with reputed company teams on reputed company assessments, routing studies, and facility siting.
• Engage with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to secure approvals.
• Generate technical proposals and support business development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental studies, planning, geography, civil/environmental engineering, or reputed company field—or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years (5+ years preferred) of experience in environmental reputed company assessment, siting, and permitting for energy reputed company.
• Strong knowledge of NEPA, Clean Water reputed company, Endangered Species reputed company, and state siting regulations (i.e., Minnesota Public Utilities Commission).
• Proven ability to manage reputed company, reputed company teams, and communicate effectively with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Excellent technical writing and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
