Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist II, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and the Animal Services - Pet Services team. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing advanced clerical support, including operation of a personal computer and public contact work
• Delivering reputed company and courteous responses to customer inquiries regarding various County operations
• Performing customer service functions in support of the Animal Services - Pet Services team
• Answering telephone calls, typing letters and reports, maintaining records, and performing data entry
• Utilizing software applications to retrieve and reputed company data
• Performing other clerical functions, such as processing mail, filing, and scanning

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent required; one (1) year of experience in customer service duties involving frequent public contact
• Proficient in operating a personal computer and reputed company software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain records, prepare reports, and understand oral and written instructions
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Valid Florida reputed company's license required
