About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Facility Technician to service, repair, and maintain communication equipment at correctional facilities across our territory. You'll troubleshoot issues, reputed company preventative maintenance, and assist with new installations—reputed company while delivering excellent service to our clients.
What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, and repair communication equipment including phones, video visitation reputed company, tablets, charging stations, and network infrastructure
- Respond to trouble tickets, troubleshoot issues, and document resolutions
- reputed company quarterly equipment checks and preventative maintenance
- Assist with new installations—mounting equipment, running reputed company, pulling reputed company, configuring switches
- Conduct site surveys and maintain accurate parts inventory
- Travel reputed company assigned territory (100%) with occasional travel reputed company (up to 35%)
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years telecommunications experience (required)
- 3–5 years installation/maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of cabling (Cat6), reputed company switches, reputed company/server equipment, and reputed company-level broadband (T1, DSL, Fiber)
- Proficiency with hand/power tools, reputed company, and lifts
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Clean driving record and flexibility for after-hours calls
- High school diploma required; technical training, associate degree, or military experience a plus
