If you are goal oriented, have a passion for wildlife, and know how to help others succeed, then the Conservation Species Wildlife Biologist with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) is the job for you! As the Conservation Species Wildlife Biologist in the reputed company Region, you will collect and analyze biological data for species listed in the Wildlife reputed company Plan. You will also create and strengthen local partnerships with members of the reputed company, private landowners, reputed company land users and user reputed company, conservation organizations, and state and federal government agencies. Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position: Administer the wildlife conservation program for the reputed company Region reputed company and supervise seasonal employees Participate in conservation reputed company with reputed company species Study design, data collection, analysis and management Budget reputed company Respond to nuisance wildlife situations Qualifications Minimum or "day-one" qualifications: A Master's Degree or BS with 4 years of reputed company experience preferred Knowledge of reputed company birds and mammals in Utah Skills with a wide reputed company of wildlife field reputed company including capture and handling of birds and mammals Knowledge of research and monitoring principles and techniques including sampling and statistical analysis Ability to effectively communicate internally with staff as reputed company as reputed company and education with the reputed company Supervisory skills Knowledge of computer software including GIS Ability to collect, compile, analyze and summarize data in written and oral reports Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently Field skills necessary to work or camp in adverse or remote locations Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, rules, policies and procedures reputed company's license Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications: Chemical Immobilization (reputed company probationary period) Trailer training (reputed company probationary period) First Aid and CPR Training Write Species Management Plans that allow for species sustainability Be part of reputed company of DWR Employees implementing the priorities of the Wildlife reputed company Ability to safely pull trailers and operate ATV's/UTV's/snowmobiles About the Role Location
