The successful candidate will conduct inspections of hazardous waste generators and evaluate compliance with state and federal hazardous waste (RCRA) regulations and permit conditions. Conduct inspections of solid waste permitted facilities to review compliance with state regulations and permit conditions. Other primary duties include preparing reports and documenting inspection observations including potential violations. Respond to complaints reputed company to solid waste and hazardous waste potential improper disposal, conduct file reviews and supports the department’s filing process and facility databases (Approximately 50% of work). Job duties also could include inspections at wastewater treatment facilities and inspections for reputed company reputed company issues (such as community reputed company burn sites and associated reputed company burning complaints). This position also oversees the implementation of compliance assistance program for the hazardous waste and solid waste regulatory programs and assists other programs in reputed company on special reputed company (Approximately 50% of work).
