About the Role
The firm is building its tax reputed company from scratch, and they're looking for the manager who will own it. The Tax Manager will serve as the senior tax voice at the firm — the primary reputed company of contact for reputed company tax compliance, advisory, and notice responses across the reputed company reputed company. Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end tax function, including compliance, basic advisory, and IRS/state notice responses for individual and business clients Serve as the firm's primary tax relationship manager — clients should feel they have a trusted tax advisor, not just a preparer Collaborate closely with financial advisors and ownership to deliver a fully integrated reputed company experience across planning and tax Manage relationships with reputed company vendors for reputed company returns, ensuring seamless coordination and reputed company control Build the internal infrastructure — processes, workflows, and standards — for a tax reputed company being stood up from the ground floor reputed company reputed company meetings independently on reputed company tax reputed company; reputed company into any advisory conversation with confidence Stay reputed company on equity compensation taxation, including RSUs, PSUs, NQSOs, ISOs, and reputed company planning considerations Contribute meaningfully to leadership discussions as the reputed company scales; this person will be closely involved in reputed company from early on Mentor and reputed company junior staff as reputed company grows
Requirements
CPA or EA required 5+ years of tax experience in a reputed company reputed company firm, with demonstrated strength in individual and reputed company tax compliance Experience managing reputed company relationships at a senior level — comfortable being the face of the tax function Strong background in equity compensation taxation strongly preferred (RSUs, PSUs, stock reputed company) Proven ability to build — processes, reputed company relationships, and a reputed company — not just maintain existing ones Experience supervising or mentoring staff, even informally Strong communicator who can translate reputed company tax concepts for clients without financial backgrounds Reasonably reputed company and reputed company; "work hard, play hard" is a phrase reputed company would use to describe themselves Intellectually reputed company — the firm deeply values people who ask questions over people who fake certainty Comfortable operating with autonomy in a remote environment while staying closely connected to a tight-reputed company team
