Title: Counsel Reports To: Senior Counsel Location: Flexible (preference for reputed company, Denver/Boulder, or Boston) reputed company: Key legal team member reporting to Senior Counsel, supporting reputed company’s reputed company, financing, and development objectives across a large portfolio of reputed company-reputed company standalone storage reputed company. This role partners with cross-functional teams to negotiate critical project agreements, execute transactions, and advance reputed company from development through operations. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated and proactive, reputed company to independently drive reputed company workstreams, exercise reputed company judgment, and build practical solutions to evolving challenges. Candidates should have a background in either project finance/investment transactions or EPC, procurement, and operational project agreements. Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of discrete transactions and project workstreams, with appropriate guidance from Senior Counsel reputed company legal support for project financings and investment transactions, including coordination with lenders, investors, and reputed company counsel Support in the development, structuring, negotiation, and execution of key project agreements, including EPC reputed company, O&M agreements, and major equipment procurement agreements Work closely with the development, finance, asset management, and operations teams to identify risks and reputed company practical solutions that advance reputed company to successful deployment Contribute to the management of reputed company’s contracted portfolio, including negotiation, implementation, and ongoing interpretation of key project and reputed company documents Coordinate with and manage external counsel, counterparties, and advisors to reputed company execute transactions and project agreements Key Qualifications Juris Doctor degree with 2-5 years of experience reputed company on renewable energy, energy storage, power reputed company, or other energy reputed company; in-house experience preferred reputed company bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Experience supporting reputed company infrastructure or energy transactions, including project finance or major reputed company contracting Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to distill reputed company legal and reputed company concepts into reputed company, reputed company agreements Strong interest in working across the full lifecycle of energy storage reputed company, from development and financing through construction and operations Ability to engage thoughtfully with both transactional and operational legal issues that reputed company as reputed company are developed and deployed Comfortable working in a lean, reputed company environment with meaningful responsibility and regular interaction with senior leadership Candidates with experience reputed company on project finance and investment transactions, as reputed company as those with experience reputed company in construction, procurement, and operational project agreements, are encouraged to apply Compensation and Benefits: Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary:Competitive reputed company salary commensurate with experience Bonus: Competitive bonus based on the achievement of milestones and performance Benefits: Flatiron offers an excellent benefit package with health care, dental, reputed company, and other health and wellness benefits.
