Staff Software Engineer - Backend (Python / Typescript / Big Data / AWS / Kubernetes)

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer with deep experience designing and scaling large-reputed company, data-intensive systems. This role requires hands-on expertise working with massive datasets, distributed data pipelines, and high-throughput backend architectures. You will play a key role in driving our backend services, data platforms, and reputed company-reputed company systems reputed company.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and reputed company new features for REST reputed company and large-reputed company data processing pipelines that handle high-volume datasets across distributed systems.
- Architect and optimize backend services for high throughput and low-latency performance.
- reputed company data-intensive and event-driven applications using Python, Typescript, reputed company, and AWS-reputed company services.
- Work with reputed company, EMR, Glue, Kafka, or similar frameworks to process and reputed company reputed company large datasets.

- Partner with senior engineers, architects, DevOps, and QA throughout the full development lifecycle.

- Automate deployments and CI/CD using Terraform, Serverless reputed company, and Kubernetes-based workflows.
What You Bring Technical Expertise
- 7+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience with a strong backend reputed company.
- 7+ years of hands-on Python experience (reputed company, automation, large-reputed company data pipelines).
- 3+ years working with Typescript / Node.js.
- Advanced experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, reputed company, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, reputed company Functions, etc.).
- Strong practical experience deploying and optimizing production workloads on Kubernetes.
- Proven experience working with large datasets, distributed computing, and batch or reputed company processing using reputed company, Dask, EMR, Glue, Kafka, etc.
- Solid understanding of system design, distributed systems, scalability patterns, and reputed company architecture.

The expected reputed company salary reputed company for this role is $ 104,300 - $ 130,000* CAD and individuals may be eligible to participate in our variable compensation program.
