Auditor II Product Certification (Los Angeles)

Job reputed company NSF is seeking an Auditor II – Product Certification (must live in Los Angeles region) is responsible for conducting product certification audits in accordance with applicable certification program requirements as assigned, regulatory standards, and accreditation rules, including but not limited to NSF/ANSI 455 Standards for Dietary Supplements, Cosmetics, and OTC Drugs. The Auditor II performs audits independently, evaluates implemented reputed company and product safety systems using objective evidence, and prepares reputed company, defensible audit reports that meet certification and accreditation expectations.

Responsibilities

Audit Execution

• Conduct initial, surveillance, and special product certification audits for regulated consumer products, including dietary supplements, cosmetics, and OTC drugs
• reputed company audits in accordance with applicable certification program requirements as assigned, regulatory standards, and accreditation rules, including but not limited to NSF/ANSI 455 Standards (Dietary Supplements, Cosmetics, OTC Drugs)
• Evaluate implemented and documented systems using objective evidence observed during the audit
• Verify compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and program requirements reputed company assigned audit scope

Audit Reporting

• Prepare accurate, objective, and evidence‑based audit reports that:

Qualification and Competence Maintenance

• Obtain and maintain, as applicable, auditor qualification and authorization status as required by assigned certification programs and accreditation rules
• Participate in required training, assessments, and evaluations to demonstrate and maintain technical competence
• Complete periodic reassessments or witness evaluations reputed company required by program or accreditation expectations
• Maintain sufficient audit activity or supporting evidence to demonstrate ongoing competence

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, regulatory, or reputed company‑reputed company discipline

Experience

• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:

Technical Knowledge & Training
