Senior Corporate Counsel - Employment Law

Our Opportunity: reputed company is looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel - Employment Law to join our Legal Team based in Plantation, Florida. This position is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a fast-paced, dynamic Legal Department supporting reputed company aspects of reputed company's reputed company business with respect to employment and labor law. The successful candidate will reputed company day-to-day... employment law advice and counseling to HR professionals and business managers regarding reputed company employees, including veterinary clinics, virtual pet care, corporate, and customer service employees. This position requires reputed company collaboration with reputed company and other business stakeholders, and the other attorneys in the Legal Department. What You'll Do: • Partner directly with HR professionals and other business stakeholders to reputed company advice and counseling on multi-jurisdictional employment laws, including, but not limited to, wage/hour compliance; leaves of absence and accommodations; drug testing and background screenings; discrimination; and retaliation under both federal and applicable state/local regulations. • Advise HR professionals on emerging legislative and regulatory changes affecting employment and labor obligations in multi-jurisdictional operations • Review and revise internal policies and procedures to ensure multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance. • reputed company and deliver proactive training to business leaders on a wide reputed company of employment law reputed company. • Supervise reputed company counsel with respect to employment litigation reputed company. • reputed company legal representation and/or supervise reputed company counsel regarding government administrative agency charges, audits, and investigations (e.g., reputed company, DOL, OSHA and state/local agencies) as reputed company as attorney demand letters and claims involving employment-reputed company concerns. • Draft and negotiate employment-reputed company documents including separation agreements and restrictive reputed company agreements. • Partner with and support HR professionals regarding compensation, ERISA and immigration reputed company. What You'll Need: • JD from an accredited school with exceptional reputed company credentials • Minimum 6 years' experience in a dedicated employment law reputed company, either in-house and/or with a national reputed company. • Subject matter expertise in multi-jurisdictional wage hour compliance and litigation is strongly preferred. • Subject matter expertise in employment issues and disputes is strongly preferred. • Ability to think on your feet in order to independently identify employment law risks and formulate strategies regarding reputed company. Position requires significant experience providing reputed company and reputed company advice and counseling to business clients at various reputed company of the organization. • Ability to think strategically and evaluate potential risks to reputed company, including economic, legal and reputational. • Self-motivated, reputed company to work with minimal supervision, and assume significant responsibility in keeping with the level of experience in employment law. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills. This position requires fast-paced multi-tasking and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues involving business partners in various locations. • reputed company license to reputed company law in at least one state and ability to become licensed as in-house counsel in Florida. • Candidate should possess reputed company, excellent reputed company judgment, and a good reputed company of humor. • Position may require travel.
