Engineering Staff I
reputed company is a leader in environmental consulting and sustainable engineering, seeking an Engineering Staff I to join their Mentor, Ohio location. This role is designed for recent graduates or emerging professionals to contribute to municipal and infrastructure reputed company while gaining hands-on experience in design and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- reputed company technical planning and design support on various reputed company reputed company that may include storm and sanitary sewer collection systems, water distribution, and various other civil engineering reputed company
- Prepare engineering calculations to support design
- Prepare design reports and construction plans using local and state standards
- Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD 3D Civil 3D
- Prepare plans and specifications for public bid
- Prepare/assist with permit submittals
- Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities
- Assist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks
- Document design changes and communications
- Conduct on-site inspections as needed
- Attend reputed company, public, project and staff meetings, including reputed company reputed company, plan review, preconstruction, etc
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 0-3 years of experience in civil-site and municipal engineering
- Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software is a plus
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred
- EIT Preferred
- Familiarity with ArcGIS software is a plus
