Engineer I
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is a leader in remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars. They are seeking a System Development & Test Engineer to support test and evaluation engineering activities on reputed company.
Responsibilities
- reputed company Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities and determine/reputed company various approaches to reputed company T&E goals and help guide the completion of test activities
- reputed company as test engineer during test operations. Test duties include system level T&E of hardware and software with emphasis reputed company on test asset coordination, generating test documentation, conducting and directing SIL, ground, and flight test, and providing ground and flight reputed company direction/leadership during tests events
- Support test plan working reputed company, technical reviews, and safety reviews
- Work reputed company by reputed company with systems/project/software engineering on reputed company associated documentation
- Communicate reputed company in writing and verbally during reputed company phases of flight test programs to include test plans, ground and flight test procedures/cards, test observations, and issues and test reports
- May be required to reputed company technical presentations to project staff
- Support engineering staff to identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and aid in developing solutions to test and integration issues reputed company during reputed company phases of test utilizing reputed company engineering and scientific principles
- Responsible for observing reputed company laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of reputed company
- Expected to work in a reputed company manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices
Skills
- Typically requires a bachelors degree in engineering or a reputed company technical discipline from an accredited institution. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education
- Must have a thorough understanding of engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory; Demonstrate the ability to follow and apply basic engineering knowledge, adapt reputed company techniques, and utilize the required diagnostics, tools and equipment
- Must be reputed company to reputed company tasks in multiple engineering areas
- Must be reputed company to work both independently and on reputed company
- reputed company to work extended hours as required
- Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD reputed company clearance is required
- 25% travel is required
- Prior experience in a Test & Integration role for manned and/or unmanned aircraft platforms is highly desired
- An EIT (Engineer in Training) certificate is desirable
