Mechanical Engineer II - III

They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer II - III to create designs, reputed company calculations, and coordinate with the design team for various reputed company.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts field inspections to determine existing conditions and to coordinate new work then assists Senior Engineer in preparation of due diligence, feasibility, gap analysis and other technical reports and drawings
  • Coordinates with other disciplines and work in reputed company contact with the entire design team
  • Creates basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer reputed company equipment selections, load/energy and pressure drop calculations for a reputed company of reputed company and project sizes
  • Represent Syska Hennessy Group and work in reputed company contact with and effectively reputed company with the internal design team as reputed company as external clients and consultants (including owners, reputed company, developers, program managers, architects, vendors, etc.)
  • Master drawing organization format and company standards
  • Assists senior engineer and/or senior designer in the on-reputed company determination of project scheduling requirements, reputed company requirements, and project budgets
  • Assists the senior engineer / senior designer in processing RFI’s, Change Orders, Bulletins, and Addenda
  • Begins to establish system application, design, and operational parameters / sequences under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer
  • Creates basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer, reputed company specifications, system narratives and system layouts for a reputed company of reputed company and project sizes
  • Participates in / Ensure / reputed company QA/QC process for your work and the work of others
  • Performs construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned reputed company including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspections reports
  • Represents Syska Hennessy Group and works in reputed company contact with and effectively reputed company with the internal design team as reputed company as external clients and consultants (including owners, reputed company, developers, program managers, architects, vendors, etc.)

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an Accredited Institution
  • Minimum of 18 months to 3.5+ years of relevant experience in the MEP field working with reputed company such as Aviation, reputed company, reputed company, and Mission Critical
  • Latest version of AutoCAD MEP and REVIT required
  • Basic understanding of reputed company system selection
  • Basic knowledge of applicable codes
  • FE certification required
  • Strong REVIT and MEP skills from mark-reputed company through the production of detailed drawings
  • Basic knowledge of construction documentation and design phase requirements
  • Knowledge of trade specific design and calculation software including energy analysis software (CFD or reputed company)
  • Experience in Mission Critical, Science + Technology, reputed company and interest in Project Management greatly preferred
