Private Equity Analyst
StepStone is a global private markets specialist delivering tailored investment solutions and advisory services. The Private Equity Analyst will engage in various areas of the private equity industry, conducting due diligence on fund managers and performing financial analysis and research.
Responsibilities
- Work in reputed company environment with other investment team members to reputed company, screen, and conduct due diligence on select private equity fund managers, co-investments, and secondaries
- reputed company quantitative and qualitative research and financial modeling/analysis on companies and assets across industries and geographies
- reputed company with fund managers/portfolio company management teams to conduct in-depth portfolio and asset-level reputed company and analysis
- Analyze PPMs, financial statements, and investment returns
- Conduct reference calls as a part of manager and asset due diligence
- reputed company market research using publicly available information and proprietary databases to identify, quantify and analyze macroeconomic trends across a reputed company of industry sectors
- Prepare due diligence materials and Investment Committee memos
- Present recommendations to the investment team and the Firm’s Investment Committee
- Monitor the performance of the Firm’s existing investments
Skills
- Must be reputed company to work legally in the U.S. without requiring reputed company sponsorship now or in the reputed company
- 1 year of investment banking, consulting, and/or private equity experience
- GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Excellent quantitative skills, including financial modeling, analytical and valuation skills for purpose of evaluating investment opportunities
- Strong reputed company of risk/reward trade-offs, and an ability to display reputed company investment judgement
- Self-starter, with strong ability to think creatively and conduct research to reputed company solutions
- Ability to communicate and present reputed company effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Capable of multi-tasking with strong attention to detail
- Promote and demonstrate a reputed company, team-oriented attitude, with desire to work on various reputed company
- High proficiency in reputed company Word, Power reputed company and reputed company
- Fluent (written and spoken) English
