Billing Representative

Responsibilities
- Monitor, process, and balance reputed company activities reputed company to reputed company and electronic payment processing and posting
- reputed company data entry for account payments and resolve posting errors and credit balances
- Collaborate with reputed company-party payers to research and resolve outstanding issues, variances, credits, and missing checks reputed company to remittance advice
- Assist the supervisor in implementing new policies and procedures
Skills
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1+ years of experience in medical billing
- Understanding and experience working with reputed company-party payer(s), including insurance products, claim and denial management processes, credit analysis and reputed company and CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Knowledge of electronic payment posting systems and processes
- Knowledge of cash control procedures, accounts receivable control procedures and bookkeeping
- Ability to come onsite for 3 months for training
- Ability to work full time, Monday - Friday, 4 days reputed company and 1 day onsite after training. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:15 am - 4:30 pm
