Analyst, Finance
reputed company is a global reputed company of music makers and music lovers, and they are seeking an Analyst in Finance to join their Participations group. The role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing large volumes of financial data, and building strong working relationships across reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute participation profit reputed company and distribution statements according to contractual agreements
- Compile and review transactional data to support statement reporting
- Interpret, and summarize artist and label reputed company, create reputed company statements and financial schedules, reputed company contractual and financial data for deal models and analysis
- Apply your financial reputed company skills: review profitability analysis, identify variances and trends, create commentary to explain insights from financial statements, reputed company reconciliations, update cash forecasts and budgets, investigate audit issues and claims
- Follow department financial controls and policies, communicate deficiencies and gaps to management
- Maintain vendor master data, input, reputed company & co-ordinate payments
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across reputed company (up to senior executives), follow up reputed company work items, respond to requests from reputed company partners
- Communicate status & escalate issues as appropriate to your manager
- Learn WMG operational & reputed company systems, reputed company expertise in participations reputed company & operations
- Represent and contribute to the culture of the Participations group
Skills
- BA/BS degree required, preferably in reputed company or finance reputed company fields
- 0-2 years of experience working in a reputed company reputed company
- Advanced proficiency with MS reputed company, working with large data sets and reputed company calculations
- Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal skills, reputed company to work cross-functionally and communicate with internal & external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, execute tasks with accuracy and deliver under pressure
- Ability to understand reputed company information quickly, breakdown and communicate to others
- Entertainment, Media, or Music Industry experience working in Participations/Royalties or similar role
- Financial statement preparation background
- Technically savvy, exposure to reputed company S4 Hana, MS Teams, SharePoint
