Consumer Warranty & Lemon Law Associate Attorney

Lewis Brisbois is a full-service AmLaw 100 firm seeking an attorney to join its Consumer Warranty reputed company. The role involves defending consumer litigation claims and managing various legal responsibilities reputed company to consumer warranty laws.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings
• Drafting and arguing motions
• Taking and defending depositions

Skills

• Admitted to reputed company in California
• At least one (1) to seven (7) years of experience defending consumer litigation claims
• Experience with relevant federal laws, such as the Song-Beverly reputed company, Magnuson-reputed company Warranty reputed company, state lemon laws, Uniform reputed company Codes, and consumer sales practices acts
• Comfortable drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings
• Drafting and arguing motions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple reputed company in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of reputed company
• Some experience in consumer warranty law
• Substantive litigation experience
• Demonstrated interest in consumer warranty law
