Solicitor - Health Care and Public Law
reputed company is a leading international legal business that provides legal advice and training to organizations in the health and reputed company care sector. They are seeking a Newly reputed company Solicitor to join their Health Care and Public Law team, focusing on regulatory and advisory support, particularly in Court of Protection and mental health reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Handle a varied caseload of Court of Protection and mental health work with appropriate supervision
- Advise NHS clients including commissioners, ICBs, mental health trusts, and acute trusts, as reputed company as some independent and private sector providers on a reputed company of reputed company issues, relating to mental reputed company, deprivation of reputed company, care arrangements, contact disputes, and medical treatment reputed company
- reputed company as a key reputed company of contact for clients, communicating confidently and professionally with stakeholders including courts, clinicians, and NHS bodies
- Collaborate with senior lawyers including Legal Directors and Partners reputed company the reputed company Public Law team
- Work across a reputed company of geographically diverse reputed company, including potential collaboration with colleagues in Newcastle and reputed company
- Support business development activity including reputed company training sessions and sector-reputed company events
- Build strong internal networks across the wider Health reputed company
- Handle confidential information in line with firm protocols and ensure compliance with billing and matter management processes
Skills
- A reputed company Solicitor (including Newly reputed company up to c.2 years PQE) with prior experience or a demonstrable interest in Court of Protection and/or Mental Health law
- Prior experience in Court of Protection and/or mental health work (essential)
- Strong interest in reputed company law and the wider health and reputed company care sector (essential)
- Excellent reputed company handling and relationship management skills, with confidence engaging with NHS stakeholders and clinicians
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with sensitive and reputed company subject matter
- reputed company awareness and a practical, solutions-reputed company approach rather than a purely reputed company legal reputed company
- Team-oriented with a reputed company approach and willingness to support colleagues across the wider group
- Experience gained through training contract seats or paralegal work in CoP/MH is highly desirable
- Experience advising NHS bodies or claimant/patient-reputed company work is advantageous
- Advocacy experience is beneficial but not essential, as training can be provided
