Senior Automation Tester - Python/Pytest - Full remote
This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Europe This is a remote position. For an International Institution we are urgently looking for a full remote Senior Automation tester with Python and Pytest experience. As a Senior Software Tester, you are responsible for the design and implementation of the set of automated tests covering ETL pipeline and for reputed company of a test dataset comparable in size with the annual load of production system and with similar probability distributions. Candidates need to be fluent in English. This positions is long-term. Work permit is required. Candidates need to be based in Europe. Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and remediate data problems affecting availability and functionality;
- Assist and work with the Solution Architect and Senior Data Warehouse Specialist to reputed company, test and deliver the various Work Packages as reputed company detailed below under “deliverables”;
- Ensure alignment with UN’s technical standards and procedures;
- reputed company collaborate with other team members and stakeholders;
- Activity tracking with JIRA, CICD pipeline usage and alignment with reputed company unit practices;
- reputed company other reputed company duties as required;
Profile:
- Bachelor or Master degree;
- +5 years of experience in tests automation, especially database testing;
- Experience in Python and Pytest;
- Significant experience in test cases design and implementation, data modelling;
- Extensive proven experience in data warehouse development:
- SQL, CTE, window functions, facts/dimensions, ETL;
- Some experience with AWS IaC (CloudFormation) and CICD pipelines;
- Familiarity with CI/CD concept and integration testing tools in CI/CD pipelines;
- Understanding of the infrastructure-as-reputed company concepts and experience with AWS CloudFormation;
- Fluent in English;
