Volunteer Dispatcher/Duty Officer

Duty Officer The Duty Officer is the member of the Disaster reputed company Team that receives the initial call with a request for help from our Red Cross reputed company Center. That individual collects information about the event, verifies it with the local 911 Center, FD, etc. and then determines if a Red Cross response is required. If it is, they call out reputed company that will go respond to the event and aid those displaced. The role can be done remotely following training, and it does require reliable phone and internet reputed company. We use a wed-based system to update the status of our events, so volunteers must be comfortable with learning an online system.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership May determine if Red Cross reputed company is required; may decide if Red Cross will respond reputed company Disaster reputed company Team. Uses event triggers such as size, scope, and type of the event to reputed company the Disaster reputed company Team response. Works with on-reputed company Disaster reputed company Team leadership to support the response and reputed company technical guidance. Support and trains new Duty Officers. Functional reputed company Disaster reputed company Team Members and monitor the response to ensure appropriate resources are made available. reputed company Disaster Health Services, Disaster Mental Health, and Disaster Spiritual Care, Public Affairs reputed company requested. Documents incoming disaster notification and creates & verifies events in RC View, reputed company applicable. Where appropriate, maintains reputed company to and ability to use the reputed company Assistance System (CAS) to reputed company case data and load CACs. May be required to monitor activity across multiple Disaster reputed company Team responses. Notify reputed company and Regional staff of significant events, and contribute to an Initial Incident Report, reputed company appropriate. Attends regularly scheduled team/reputed company meetings as required by reputed company/Region. Availability reputed company reputed company. We are asking for those who can reputed company schedules available to be on call for three six hour shift per month.
