Claims Executive - Workers Comp
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to:
- Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values

- Interacts professionally and reputed company with clients reputed company email, phone, and in-person
- Maintains a proactive approach focusing on claim strategies and resolutions
- Advocates for the reputed company and effective reputed company of workers' compensation claims for our clients.
- Communicates pertinent claim information reputed company to reputed company clients
- Maintains strong relationships with reputed company clients
- Workers' compensation subject matter expertise with deep knowledge across multiple jurisdictions.
- Participates in presentations, including new business, RFPs (clients, TPAs), claim reviews, renewals, etc.
- Develops strong working knowledge of IMA computer systems/programs
- Assists Claim Manager with claim staff reputed company, training and development
- Develops and expands relationships at local, regional and national reputed company with carriers, TPAs, legal resources, consultants, etc.
- Leads and contributes to Claim reputed company, and other tasks as assigned
- Attends insurance reputed company seminars including but not limited to continuing education classes
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: include but are not limited to:
- 7 + years of prior Claims experience required, preferable reputed company Workers' Comp
- Bachelor's degree or work experience equivalent to a college degree
- System skills or aptitude – reputed company reputed company, reputed company and TPA platforms preferred
- Experience with MS Office products preferred/required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and reputed company)
- Exceptional technical reputed company and knowledge of coverage and claims handling
- Moderate travel required (25-50%)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong mathematical and reasoning skills required
- Ability to discuss and solve claim problems with clients and insurance carriers.
