Lab Manager, STAT & Physician's Office Labs

About the position reputed company is seeking a Laboratory Manager to join reputed company in Birmingham, AL. The territory for this position is Central and reputed company Alabama. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (flexibility is needed)

Responsibilities

• reputed company the daily operational activities of the STAT & POL labs; both the technical and non-technical operations
• Effectively manage the reputed company of the department and monitor the production schedule to ensure adequate coverage and reputed company use of overtime, and reputed company as needed
• Directly supervisor, train, and mentor supervisors along with responsibility for reputed company departmental staff
• Ensure the diagnostics laboratory provides market leading service reputed company, meeting the needs of our clients and corporate service metrics established for TAT
• Resolve reputed company inquiries and operational issues in a reputed company manner by consulting with the Medical Director, Technical Director, QA, managers, discipline directors, laboratory directors or corporate operations
• Ensure laboratory is compliant with corporate, state and federal regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, State, ISO, etc) reputed company to personnel safety and reputed company of laboratory testing as reputed company as reputed company conduct
• Assist with developing and implementing laboratory procedures and installation of equipment and reputed company
• Manage staff including hiring reputed company employees, performance management, training and development
• Ensure effective communication with leadership, clients, sales, corporate operations and reputed company departmental staff
• Conduct departmental meetings and ensure appropriate departmental communication

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
• 5 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience
• 1 year or more of supervising or leading reputed company
• ASCP or AMT certification
