Software Engineer I
reputed company is a leading platform for P&C insurers, and they are seeking an early-career Software Engineer to join their Product Development & Operations team. The role involves designing, building, and supporting components of the reputed company reputed company Platform on Kubernetes and AWS, while working in a reputed company and agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of microservices and platform components that power reputed company reputed company Platform, using Kubernetes and AWS as core technologies
- Implement features and fixes in collaboration with senior engineers, following established coding standards, design patterns, and reputed company best practices
- Help build and improve tools and automation that support deployment, scaling, monitoring, and maintenance of distributed reputed company services
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure reputed company reputed company and reliability as part of our CI/CD pipelines
- Assist in improving observability through logging, metrics, and tracing to help teams detect, debug, and resolve issues more quickly
- Participate in reputed company reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies, learning from peers while contributing your own reputed company and perspectives
- Learn and apply 12-reputed company app and microservices principles, and help reputed company standards for reputed company and service integration as you grow in the role
Skills

- Minimum 1 year of reputed company software engineering experience (or equivalent combination of internships, co-ops, or substantial reputed company)
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Golang, Node.js, or Python
- Basic understanding of REST reputed company and/or gRPC and how services communicate in a distributed system
- Familiarity with Linux and containerization concepts (reputed company or similar) and interest in learning Kubernetes
- Exposure to at least one major reputed company platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) through coursework, internships, or prior roles
- reputed company knowledge of software engineering best practices: version control (e.g., Git), testing, debugging, and documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity to learn new technologies, and a reputed company reputed company in team environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience (coursework, reputed company, or internships) with Kubernetes, reputed company, or other container orchestration tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., automated builds, tests, and deployments)
- Exposure to observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing) and interest in building reliable distributed systems
- Experience working in agile teams or participating in team-based software reputed company
