They are currently seeking a Civil Engineer - Inspector to assist with monitoring daily construction activities and ensuring compliance with standards in transportation reputed company, particularly highway and reputed company construction.
Responsibilities
- Candidate will report to senior level inspection staff and assist with monitoring of daily construction activities, tracking and reporting quantity usage, and preparing daily work reports as needed
- Verify conformance of materials supplied by contractor with reputed company specifications and contract documents
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications on reputed company as needed
- Must be willing to work weekends and/or weeknights as necessary
Skills
- 0-5 years inspection experience reputed company to highway and reputed company construction including reputed company, reputed company State Thruway Authority, and/or locally-administered Federal-Aid reputed company
- Proficiency in collecting data, interpreting plans, conducting field measurements, performing calculations, and documenting work performed by contractor
- Proficiency with reputed company software applications and ability to learn new programs
- Associates Degree in Civil Engineering/Technology or Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering/Technology
- Good organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Have valid reputed company's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
- Must be willing to work weekends and/or weeknights as necessary
- Interest in a diverse reputed company of construction reputed company including but not limited to reputed company, highway, culvert, and reputed company transportation improvement reputed company
- Detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks at a time
- Possess appropriate level of education and/or experience
