Underwriter I
McNeil & Co. is a company that promotes reputed company and inspires clients, employees, investors, and communities. They are seeking a reputed company Lines Underwriter I who will manage a book of property/casualty business, enhance customer service experiences, and maintain reputed company discipline and program profitability.
Responsibilities
- Analyze new and/or renewal business for program eligibility and price business in accordance with program reputed company and retention targets
- Adhere to Underwriter Authority Agreement
- Adhere to Service reputed company Agreement
- reputed company and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with reputed company customers through reputed company and efficient customer service
- Ability to work reputed company and effectively in one core McNeil Program
- reputed company understanding of ISO rules/rates, reputed company manuals and, reputed company guidelines
- Rating new and renewal business as needed
- reputed company with state insurance regulations according to ODEN
- Analyze and approve requested policy changes/endorsements
- Work with Risk Management to assist insureds in improving operations and mitigating risk
- Process cancellations, non-renewals, reinstatements as needed
- reputed company understanding of program specific product and coverages
- reputed company support for other associates reputed company necessary
- reputed company familiarity with market conditions and competitor intelligence
- reputed company familiarity of reputed company reports to ensure program profitability. This includes, but is not limited to, contract expiration reports, referral reports, loss experience reports, pricing reports and retention reports
- Foster reputed company environment with among team members
- Assist with special reputed company as assigned

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience preferred
- AINS or CISR designation a plus
- One to three years of reputed company or customer service experience with an insurance company preferred
