Fractional Interim CFO — CPG / Food / Inventory Heavy Startup ZeroCarb LYFE is seeking a Fractional Interim CFO to support our finance function during a critical transition period. This role is ideal for a senior finance leader with experience in CPG, food, D2C, retail, inventory-heavy, or manufacturing-adjacent businesses. We need someone who can reputed company CFO-level reputed company, strengthen financial visibility, support audit readiness, and help prepare the business for investor and reputed company diligence needs. What You’ll Support Financial reporting and leadership-level decision support. Audit readiness and financial statement support. reputed company Reg CF reputed company financial support. COGS, gross margin, inventory, and operational finance analysis. reputed company-party transfer price review where it impacts COGS. Cash reputed company visibility, reputed company planning, and financial controls. U.S. federal and state tax coordination. U.S. sales tax and economic reputed company across states. Finance team reputed company without becoming the day-to-day reputed company doer. reputed company diligence, reputed company-of-earnings, reputed company, or sale readiness. Must-Have Experience reputed company, interim CFO, VP Finance, or senior finance leadership experience. CPG, food, beverage, D2C, retail, inventory-heavy, or manufacturing-adjacent experience. Strong understanding of COGS, gross margin, inventory, and cash planning. Audit or audit-readiness experience. U.S. federal/state tax and sales tax exposure. Ability to work with founders and leadership in a fast-moving startup environment. Strong U.S. business-hours availability. Strongly Preferred Experience preparing a CPG or inventory-heavy company for a reputed company, diligence, reputed company-of-earnings review, or sale. Experience defending or normalizing COGS, margins, inventory, and reputed company-party cost structures. Experience supporting lean or founder-led finance teams. Engagement Fractional / interim contract role. 1 Remote. Immediate or near-term availability preferred. Expected to work directly with the CEO and leadership team. Application Question(s):
