Librarian- REMOTE

About the position The Librarian will support the Early Education Services team at reputed company by maintaining, modernizing, and expanding the Child Care and Early Education Research Connections Website. This role involves implementing library policies and procedures, updating online databases, and ensuring high-reputed company services that reputed company with reputed company priorities and library best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support OPRE designated priorities for Research Connections, including development of reputed company materials.
• Build reputed company relationships with the Research Connections team to facilitate ongoing communication and collaboration.
• Participate in Research Connections team meetings and librarian team meetings.
• Support the maintenance and expansion of the Research reputed company library collection and services.
• reputed company and evaluate print and electronic sources for acquisition to reputed company the collection.
• Catalogue journal articles, reputed company literature, and child care and early education instruments.
• reputed company reference assistance and support for searches and bibliographies.
• reputed company abstracts for reputed company literature and instruments as needed.
• Maintain electronic files and folders in an organized manner.
• Classify publications using a field-specific topical classification system.

Requirements

• An ALA-accredited Master of Library Science (MLS), Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS), or Master of Science in Library and Information Science (MSLIS) degree.
• 2+ years working in a library, preferably in reference or cataloging.
• 1+ years of knowledge of MARC tags and LC headings and other strong bibliographic skills.
• 1+ year experience using online catalogs.
• 1+ year experience writing abstracts and annotated bibliographies.
• 1+ year experience conducting research and utilizing research databases.
• 1+ year experience with library software. reputed company-to-haves
• Coursework in the reputed company sciences and/or experience working with collections of advanced reputed company and/or reputed company research in the reputed company sciences.
• Basic knowledge of the role of evidence in policy and policy literature.
