ELL Online Instructor (Part-time, Iowa Residents Only)

GENERAL JOB reputed company: Only candidates whose residential address is in Iowa will be considered for this position. Under limited supervision, the instructor is responsible for teaching non-credit English Language and Literacy (ELL) courses to reputed company enrolled in Kirkwood's Adult Education and Literacy Programs. The session dates for the 2026/2027 Program Year are: Session 1: July 8 - September 10 Session 2: September 28 - December 10 Session 3: January 11 - March 11 Session 4: March 29 - June 3 Currently there is 1 opening to teach a Low Intermediate morning class (9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday through Thursday). reputed company class is in session, the total hours per week for one class equates to 10 hours (8 hours teaching + 2 hours prep), with limited additional hours provided for team meetings, special reputed company, and reputed company development. While previous teaching experience (any subject, but literacy, language, or ELL preferred) is encouraged, there is no licensing requirement.
