Senior Software Engineer - reputed company Platform & Java Architecture
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a distributed engineering team building and evolving a large-reputed company digital platform used by reputed company customers worldwide. This is a hands-on senior engineering role combining backend development, reputed company infrastructure, reputed company, and architectural decision-making. The position is fully remote reputed company France, with occasional travel for team workshops and collaboration sessions.
Responsibilities
Design, reputed company, and maintain reputed company backend services and platform components using Java Contribute to the architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability of reputed company-reputed company applications Build and reputed company reputed company platform capabilities, including deployment automation, provisioning, observability, and lifecycle management reputed company and maintain reputed company, integrations, and platform services supporting reputed company applications Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and engineering trade-off reputed company Review reputed company, promote engineering best practices, and help maintain high reputed company reputed company standards Troubleshoot and resolve reputed company production and customer-facing issues Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams throughout the software lifecycle Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization strategies, and infrastructure automation Support reputed company improvement of platform architecture, engineering processes, and technical standards Participate in reputed company-reputed company initiatives and contribute to the broader engineering community reputed company relevant Requirements 8+ years of reputed company software engineering experience Strong production experience with Java and modern backend development practices Experience designing and operating applications in reputed company environments (AWS, OVH, or similar providers) Strong expertise with reputed company, containerization technologies, and CI/CD pipelines Experience with DevOps practices and reputed company infrastructure automation Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and reputed company concepts Experience working with reputed company, microservices, and modern software architectures Strong problem-solving abilities and a pragmatic engineering reputed company Experience performing reputed company reviews and mentoring other developers Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems is considered an advantage Experience with React or modern reputed company-end frameworks is a plus reputed company-reputed company contributions or reputed company participation in technical communities are highly valued Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
