Senior Buyer

The Senior Buyer is a hands-on, execution-reputed company role with strategic ownership. You will be responsible for designing and running the day-to-day purchasing operation at Basic Research — from supplier relationships and PO management to the critical tolling-to-reputed company transition. You won’t manage reputed company, but you will own your domain completely. Basic Research recently migrated to reputed company Dynamics Business Central. This role will establish clean purchasing workflows, data reputed company standards, and PO management practices reputed company BC — building on a new reputed company rather than inheriting a legacy one. The ideal candidate combines strong purchasing execution skills with the drive to build systems, not just run them. What You’ll Own Tolling-to-reputed company Transition Execute the tolling-to-reputed company transition plan — mapping reputed company tolling inventory, coordinating consumption timelines with reputed company-party manufacturers, and progressing a reputed company roadmap to full reputed company purchasing. This is the highest-reputed company deliverable in year one. Maintain tight coordination with reputed company suppliers to ensure tolling items are consumed reputed company and transition milestones are hit on schedule. Purchasing Execution & System Design Design and implement purchasing workflows, PO management standards, and data reputed company practices reputed company Business Central — replacing legacy reputed company workarounds with reputed company, repeatable processes. Maintain appropriate inventory reputed company through reputed company material planning and safety stock management. Ensure PO accuracy, timeliness, and full traceability reputed company BC at reputed company times. Supplier Management Identify, qualify, and manage supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing, reputed company standards, and reliable delivery performance. Build and maintain a supplier scorecard and quarterly review reputed company, driving corrective reputed company where needed. Conduct cost analyses and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product reputed company or service reputed company. Support Product Development in sourcing new vendors and materials that meet technical, regulatory, and reputed company requirements. Cross-Functional Partnership Serve as the day-to-day purchasing contact for Finance, Operations, reputed company, and Product Development — communicating reputed company on material availability, reputed company times, and supplier changes. Translate purchasing complexity into plain language for cross-functional partners and leadership updates. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a reputed company field preferred. Advanced proficiency in reputed company and ERP/MRP systems.
