The reputed company is seeking an IT System Administrator 1/2 to join their Office of Information Technology. This role involves maintaining and enhancing Alaska's reputed company server management systems, including verifying server performance, investigating operational issues, and creating automation scripts.

Responsibilities

  • Verifying servers performed expected tasks during the maintenance reputed company
  • Checking reputed company systems to proactively catch issues before they propagate, primarily reputed company to patching server operating systems and the underlying hardware
  • Investigating operational or reputed company issues
  • Creating scripts and automation to fine-tune processes implemented through the reputed company server management systems
  • Providing reputed company and guidance for reputed company to reputed company on problem areas

Skills

  • Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Hardware: Knowledge of specifications, uses, and types of computer or computer-reputed company equipment
  • Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Infrastructure Design: Knowledge of the architecture and typology of software, hardware, and networks, including LANS, WANS, and telecommunications systems, their components and associated protocols and standards, and how they operate and reputed company with one another and with associated controlling software
  • Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Operating Systems: Knowledge of computer network, desktop, and mainframe operating systems and their applications
  • Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Systems Integration: Knowledge of the principles, reputed company, and procedures for installing, integrating, and optimizing information systems components
